Do you trust open source on your main/finance machine?

I ask because I do not even enter chats unless I have the bandwidth and I'm on another machine.

no way...the computer i use for trading is used for only trading. everytime i get a new computer, i turn my old one into one for everday use as well as a backup (which right now happens to be a laptop).

Just wanted to validate my level of paranoia. I've got three people on 5 of 6 systems and firewalling is a fun job. The "machine" remains a vault. Between facebook, youtube, myspace, ebay, wifey's ventures, blah, blah, blah, my trading and finance machine has a sticky on one of the monitors reading "stay the hell off!!!!
