Advice?
Will be a soph. in school. Currently internting @ RBS Greenwich Capital, in Credit, I asked if I could spend some times with prop traders, and was told th 2 prop groups quit in March. Was told I could spend some time on the trading floor after somebody agrees to look after me haha.
What should I be reading? What should I be doing in preparation of a job in a good prop shop? Are there any that accept interns? I'm willing to work without pay next summer simply because I want the experience that bad. I've been fooling around in Investopedia' 100,000 dollar stock simulator, i'm up 4.7% total in the two days I've played? Is this worth continuing? Is that a good return, somebody here in Credit told me .1% a day is a great return, but I don't know if I should trust them. Basically I'm looking for direction, and something to do till I'm out of college taht will prepare me, and make me better than the next guy. Any help is appreciated, Thanks. | |
