Hello rookie,

I'm providing you with a list of some well known charting software packages. I will let others discuss their experience with them, if any.

Tradestation
Esignal
Ensign Windows
Investor/RT
Neoticker

Happy Trading!

I have used both Ensign and Sierrachart. Actually, I switched to Sierrachart. Ensign has a great set of drawing tools but Sierrachart has far more logical data storage at one per symbol. In addition, it offers two programming options: spreadsheets and custom studies through DLLs. I decided in favor of Sierrachart because it better satisfies my trading needs. however, Ensign is a great piece of software too.
