Dual or quad monitor setup?
I'm getting started in trading and wanted to build my first trading station. Of course, having at least two monitors is of paramount importance to every daytrader, I guess.
How did you satisfy your dual or quad monitor setup needs? I understand you can have one graphic card for each monitor you want to have hooked up, but I heard mixed opinions on that. I guess the fastest and most efficient way would be to buy a dual or quad monitor graphic card. which one would you suggest?

ive always wanted a monitor setup like that (i would love to have eight screens), yet never really needed one being that im not a day trader. mostly though its because im a cheap skate...
![]() when you get your setup, take a picture of it and post it...im already anxious to be envious. Last edited by Leth : 10-22-2007 at 08:14 PM.

I would suggest to stay away from 1-card-per-monitor kind of setups, as you might experience compatibility issues. I would go with dual of quad cards. Check Appian or Colorgraphic cards out. They are both very good products. I still have and use my Appian Jeronimo Pro Quad, and it rocks!

yes, go with dual or quad cards. Start with two monitors as you don't need that much real estate at the beginning. Two monitors should be enough.
