ES

Why has ES trading become so popular? What are some of the reasons it is attracting so many traders? I see many traders trading the ES only.
Can anyone educate me?

Dont know for sure...but ill try a non-educated guess...

im thinking liquidity, cost comparison to trading the actual S&P500, leverage, and.....well...thats about all i can think of.

Trading futures is more difficult than trading individual stocks and new traders get more easily attracted by overly complicated things.

Personally, I like to watch the ES mostly for market direction. I don't trade them.

no site in particular really. i make my own ususally. with the current avatar...i went to one of those sites that sell novelty tshirts. i download the picture of the shirt....cut it to square....shrank it down to size...and erased the words since they are to difficult to see.
if i remember, ill post some sites that have some good ones when i get to work tomorrow.

99 posts protrader...awesome...a pre-congratulations is in order for your soon to be 100th post!!!
