Oh Billy! Sunday night Fed Cut
I'm not a doom and gloomer and I rarely attempt to "predict" beyond a couple minutes, but I have never seen economic conditions set as this before. And that includes being a student of economics, the historical cycles of the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000-2001 stock market, and a finance major.
Is it my paranoia, or does it feel like we are on the edge of the abyss? A fed rate cut on a sunday night? Futures and the dollar getting alot of action. Tomorrow's action is being set up for some massive swings. Great for traders, but the investment accounts may require some antacid. I'll be one of the hyenas "piling on"...get while the gettin's good. Gonna go play some 80's rock on the Les Paul and have a little scotch. "Screaming for Vengeance" may be on the play list. See ya in the trenches. | |

Yep, Fed cut, BSC bought for a pittance, $1.58 Euro, Yen = 96, oil @ $111, gold @ $1027, Spooz futures @1263, Tokyo down 4%. Bears are salivating like a $5k/hr call girl at the governors mansion, booyah, put yer shorts on and feast on some steaks.

I was amazed at the new methods that Uncle Ben enacted! On the other hand I'm not convinced that all troubles are past! I suspect there is a page 2 or 3 to come! I'm still waiting for the fat lady to sing and shes just warming up.
