RIMM as a long term short play - Trading-Lab

I believe RIMM will be lower 2-3 years from now as RIMM's market cap is over 60 billion and their current earnings growth rates are not sustainable IMHO. I'm opening a short position at these prices and will increase on the way down. Again, I have a 2-3 year horizon on this play.

be careful with long term shorts, they are often a dangerous proposition

I have actually bought "disaster insurance" using options in case things should not go as foreseen

that's good then, even though I would not short RIMM at all
