Speculation As A Fine Art And Thoughts On LIfe
SPECULATION AS A FINE ART AND THOUGHTS ON LIFE
By Dickson G. Watts There are only two books known written by Mr. Watts: SPECULATION AS A FINE ART and THOUGHTS ON LIFE. Both books were so short that it is believed that they were privately printed and given away Today the books are rare indeed. Neither the Library of Congress in Washington or The New York Public Library has copies of SPECULATION AS A FINE ART. THOUGHTS ON LIFE is in The New York Public Library and parts have been included in this edition. Many of the quotations relate to profit in business and speculation. A few just show how a successful speculator looks at life. Many old stock market books like REMINISCENCES OF A STOCK OPERATOR, by Edwin Lefevre, refer to Mr. Watts as the supreme authority. To break one of Mr Watts' rules was to throw money away. Mr. Watts was a successful speculator that knew how to transfer his thoughts into words. - Back of book This has got to be the shortest book on trading psychology I have ever read; however, it is the most to the point and informative on the subject I have ever read. I've had this book(let) in my trading library for awhile, I just broke it out again for a refresher and decided to write a few lines about it. I can't really say a whole lot regarding it other than everyone should have a copy. Takes only 15 to 30 minutes to read.

I googled this book a few minutes ago and found that someone has it posted in .pdf.... you can look at it here while it lasts...
http://stockvision.org/books/Dickson...on_Life-EN.pdf it's still a good book (if you wanna call it that) to have in hard-copy.

I agree. A very good read. I picked it up about a year ago from Amazon.
