Trading Competitions Guidelines

Picking guidelines are pretty straightforward:
  1. No pump&dump, penny or otcbb stock picks are allowed.
  2. It would be nice if you could add the following to your picks:
    1. the reasoning behind your pick
    2. a supporting chart (even a simple stockcharts chart would do)
    3. any other supporting info so that everybody will be able to learn something new besides competing
that's basically it. Enjoy the challenge!

Please clarify (or re-clarify) how entry and exit price is determined (previous close, open, close).

Also, when does the window for "picks" close for each week.

Thanks, Khan.

I'm going with open and close (normal) Market hours, no before or after hours trading. Let's try and keep this simple. Point of this challenge is to learn how to choose the winning stocks and why some of us chose poorly, if in fact some of us did. That would be me, I'm sitting on loser right now...

As for the guidelines, I would imagine there will be something more set in stone soon. Until then, post your pick and let's have a little fun.

Any questions, doubts or concerns... Let em' rip....

P.s. If anyone would like to give me some constructive criticism on my choice of stock for the week, I would be very grateful.

1. Stocks shall not be priced less than $10USD per share
2. Average daily volume on stocks shall not be less than 350k
3. Entry and exit shall be determined on daily open close (for simplification purposes)
4. Time window for stock picks shall be from Monday morning's open to the following Friday's close for profit assessment. This also allows for more reasearch time (e.g. weekend)
5. You can stay with your pick for the following week up to a month if you feel that its continuing to be profitable for further compounding.
6. Only one pick per week per player
