Welcome to our first thread of this new and exciting project!

Hello everyone, my name is Frank Topino and I'm the founder and administrator (handle is Alchemist

) of Trading-Lab.com, a new high quality website catering to the trading and investing community. I have myself been a proprietary trader in NYC for 4 years doing mostly "mechanical" arbitrage and I'm now trading my own account at the retail level. Last year, I started thinking about creating a "by traders for traders" kind of mentality website which would differentiate itself from other already established portals. So I went on and registered Trading-Lab.com. It sounded so cool and brandable! Then, the domain kind of sat there the whole year, since I got busy with other projects. However, now time has come to start growing my little baby. In fact, Trading-Lab is born!

You are now probably thinking, "Oh man, just another daytrading forum full of "pump and dump" characters or sponsors' recruitors dispensing their snakeoil!". Well, first of all I can assure you there will be none of that sitewide whatsoever. In fact, I'm planning to keep this site ADS FREE and SPONSOR FREE for as long as I can. In other words, I want to keep this site immaculate! I really wouldn't stand having Google Adsense links all over the place, which, by the way, are quite ugly! My plan for this site is to offer the trading community a high quality, ads free (and a classy appeal, why not!) alternative to what's already around.

As you can see, for now Trading-Lab is made up of 3 distinct sections: a Forums section, where you can freely discuss the plethora of trading and investing related subjects. A Blogs section, where you can start your own blog-style journal to keep track of, let's say, your daily trading activities! A Charts Lab section, which is really a forum open to registered members only where you can post and discuss your favorite chart setups. In addition, it has a File Hosting section which enables you to upload your favorite images, be it charts or whatever other type of pictures (always trading related please) you feel like uploading. This is the website setup for now. It will soon have many other nice features, but I need time for that!

Ok, I guess I wrote too much already. I hope you will enjoy and like Trading-Lab. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Now go register, and start posting!

hello everyone,

I just registered on this website and I can say you seem to have excellent plans for it. it was about time someone started a trading site free from sponsor cluttering and the like. I hope you will keep it always that way!!
